About Marc Hardy

Marc Hardy is an Indianapolis native who lives to inspire people to take action against social injustice. Author of CAN I BE REAL, Hardy has spoken to crowds both large and small on topics consisting of Diversity and Inclusion. He studied Sociology and African American Studies at Indiana University.Hardy has over 5 years of educational operations experience, which has exposed him to the inequities that perpetuate cycles of injustice.

Hardy is driven to inspire people to take steps towards stopping the issues they care about the most. He believes that it is better to do something and make minimal progress, than to do nothing at all. After years of diversity consulting and workshop facilitations, Hardy has gained experience and knowledge from a variety of people and cultures. This allows him to view Diversity and Inclusion from a broader view which allows him to provide specific examples of efforts people can make to reach solutions when it comes to social injustice.

Hardy believes that there is something everyone can do to reach solutions to social injustices. He believes no one has to feel helpless anymore. Booking Hardy to speak will leave your audience inspired, yet determined to take his words and put it into action.

    We tend to live among, shop with, work with and learn with people who look just like us. This limits our meaningful interactions with people of different races and cultures. This presentation fosters a vulnerable atmosphere where Hardy explains why he feels the way he does regarding various topics of injustice but also spends time brainstorming ways that members of the audience can make an impact on topics they are passionate about.
