  • Life, Love & the Missing Link

Samantha Tishner, Relationship Coach, Speaker, Author, Heal First Coaching

    TOPIC CATEGORY: Motivational

Through my life's journey, I finally figured out the missing link... If you do not heal what hurt you, you will bleed on people who did not cut you. MORE >

I've had a good life as a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a professional and a friend. But it wasn't until I started my second divorce that I realized something had been missing. I looked outside myself for approval, for my whole life. I did not take time to get to know myself or love and appreciate me for the human God created me to be. I did not feel I was worthy of the time for self-care or kind words from others or investing in myself. I put others' needs before mine, always - as a mom, as a wife, as a co-worker/team player.

When I stopped to get to know myself, my life changed! I found more love in my life than I knew was there, not just romantic love, but family and friends. I have more confidence and feel strong with who I am. I have peace and joy... true joy... the kind where you smile for no reason. I had never experienced that before but it felt amazing and I want to share it with as many women as possible.

I am Sam - a Health/Life Coaching and published author, focused on helping women reconnect with who they are and find the strength to build the life they desire. I found the missing link in my world and my job now is to help you find yours. Learn more at HealFirstCoaching.com.

Our world is wonderful, we can receive instant responses to communication and google any topic we have a question about and receive answers in moments. Having a minicomputer at our fingertips has opened a whole new world for us; some positive opportunities and some negative ones. MORE >

The downside, it has created a new path for bad habits and stress to take over. It has provided a space where people can be negative and hurtful to other people with little consequence. It has opened the door to create bad habits that help raise our stress level and anxiety. It’s important to find the balance between our face-paced world and finding time to shut down (creating 'white space') and focus on taking care of one’s self by reducing stress and creating positive change in our lives.
